Continue ShoppingIntroducing Santa's Celebration!
As a kid, I wondered so many things about Santa and all of his little helpers... How did they get to so many homes in one night? What magic made it possible for reindeer to fly? How long did the elves have to work to create all those toys? And how the hell did they know to always come when I was already asleep?!
Now that I'm a little older, I start to ponder other questions. Where did they source all the raw materials for such a large production operation? What type of PTO and health benefits do all those elves get? Are there elf interns? What kind of delivery logistics were they working with to get this all done in one night? And most importantly, what did they do to celebrate such a major accomplishment?
That last one became the inspiration for this limited edition Christmas-themed glass, "Santa's Celebration." I like to imagine Santa getting back from his last home visit of the night, and immediately sending out a company-wide memo inviting everyone to a giant rager, complete with barrels of the best beer the North Pole has to offer (and of course, lots and lots of delicious cookies).
Santa and all his helpers will drink, be merry, and enjoy a night of revelry before getting back to work the next week.
About the design
This limited edition glass depicts Santa leaning against a barrel of beer - bottle in one hand and a cookie in the other - with a look of pure bliss on his face. He's been dreaming of this night for 364 days, and it's finally here. His right-hand-elf, Buddy, ditched his mug and is lying on his back, going straight to the source. Blitzen (not that prima-donna Rudolph) is finishing off the last drops from his mug before going back to more.
Note that the design is printed in reflective gold on the glass.
Glassware Information
Libbey Willi Becher (16 oz.)
The Willi Becher is technically a classic German beer glass, but in reality, it's a great everyday choice for nearly any beer style in any setting. It's tall and sturdy with a thick base and features a subtle taper to concentrate aromas while making it easy to hold. It's an extremely versatile beer glass and is sure to become one of your go-to's.
Glassware Care
Here is a guide I wrote that details the best way for you to clean your glassware properly.
I do not recommend putting these glasses in the dishwasher. Hand wash with soap and water and let them air dry. If you don't, there is a chance the gold will flake or come off. These glasses contain precious metals, so never place them in the microwave.
