Introducing Narwhals and Unicorns!
The other day I was talking to a fellow beer nerd, and the conversation turned to beer trading and seeking out "whales." After some back and forth, she asked me what my "unicorn beer" was. "A unicorn beer? What's that?" She elaborated: "Your unicorn beer is one that's so rare, and so hard to find, that you're not even sure it exists anymore."
I immediately started to think about all those limited-release beers I drank years ago that may not be around anymore. After reflecting on it, I was a little disturbed at how willing I'd be to sign away my soul to try a few of them again. Then later that day, I thought, "wait, shouldn't we call those narwhals?!"
As avid beer drinkers sometimes we need some well-priced "go-to" beers for the fridge. Other times we're in the mood for something new, so we grab a few singles off the shelf that look promising. However, every so often we get that itch to track down or open up one of those whales on our beer bucket-lists. This design pays homage to that endless search for rare and hard to find beers, regardless of whether you call them whales, narwhals, or unicorns.
About the design
Front:
This full-color, custom illustration is one of a kind and looks fantastic against any color of beer you put in the glass. A blue-horned narwhal and pink-horned unicorn are entangled in a banner with their respective descriptions, “Unicorn of the sea” and “Narwhal of the land.”
Back:
A subtle, white SBG logo appears on the back of the glass.
Glassware Information
This is the first release from Small Batch Glassware printed on the Rastal Harmony Tumbler!
Rastal Harmony Tumbler - 41.5cl / 14 oz. Capacity
The Rastal Harmony Tumbler is a stemless glass and has a unique shape, unlike any other tumbler in the market. The bowl of this 13.5-ounce glass tapers to a smaller mouth which helps concentrate aromatics, making for a fuller, exceptional drinking experience for any style of beer.
Glassware Care
Here is a guide I wrote that details the best way for you to clean your glassware properly.
I've put my full-color glasses through the dishwasher, but I don't recommend it if you want the print to last a long time and stay sharp. I recommend hand washing these with soap and water, and then letting them air dry.
