Introducing Barrel-Aged!
It's been a while since we released a new Teku design, and I wanted to make sure this one was special. Barrel-aged stouts are one of my all-time favorite styles, and I wanted to pay homage to all the amazing ingredients brewers use to concoct the flavors in many of my favorite beers.
At the center of the design is the heart and soul of barrel-aged beers... the barrel! Whether it's been used for bourbon, red wine, or tequila, the barrel itself is where so much of the magic happens. Surrounding the barrel are some of the most popular (and some of my personal favorite) ingredients, including:
- Cocoa nibs
- Honey
- Peppers
- Cinnamon
- Assorted berries
- Vanilla
- Maple syrup
- Coffee
- Coconut
The design is printed in bright, reflective gold and comes with a gold halo.
Glassware Information
Rastal Teku - 42.5 cl or 14.5 oz. Capacity
The infamous Rastal Teku glass is regarded as one of the best glasses for fully experiencing the color, aroma and flavor of any style of beer. Designed by Teo Musso (“Te”) of the Baladin Brewery in Torino, and Italian sensory analyst Lerenco Dabove AKA Kuaska (“Ku”), it’s considered one of the world’s best beer glasses.
Glassware Care
Here is a guide I wrote that details the best way for you to properly clean your glassware. Below are some basic guidelines:
- No microwaving - This glass contains precious metals, so never put it in the microwave, unless you wanna see those sparks fly
- Hand wash - I've put my gold printed glasses through the wash, but I don't recommend it. I suggest hand washing these with soap and water, and then letting them air dry.
