Introducing Glass 22, and the first Halloween glass, 'Dead Men Drink No Ales! 🎃 ☠️
I'm so excited to share that we partnered with my good friend, stellar artist, Halloween fanatic, and fellow craft beer aficionado Matt Woods, to design our first-ever Halloween-themed glass!
Matt is a visual artist creating macabre and charming artwork that celebrates the strange and unusual year-round. Halloween is his favorite day of the year and he tries to bring a bit of that spooky weirdness to everything he does. Sit down for a delicious beer with him and he will talk for hours about his deep love of the horror genre.
I already knew about Matt's love for great beer and Halloween, so my fingers were crossed when I approached him about collaborating on this release. Lucky for all of us, he was just as excited.
The result was Dead Me Drink No Ales, a beautiful wrap-around design featuring his trademark illustration style.
The design showcases a series of coffins each containing a skeleton imbibing in the afterlife. With a wink to the pirate adage "Dead Men Tell No Tales" Matt wanted to highlight the common Halloween notion that the dead pass through to our side of the veil for one night of revelry among the living. All of Matt's artwork is hand-drawn and this illustration is no different, the imperfections make it unique.
Glassware Information
Rastal Harmony Tumbler - 41.5cl / 14 oz. Capacity
The Rastal Harmony Tumbler is a stemless glass and has a unique shape, unlike any other tumbler in the market. The bowl of this 13.5-ounce glass tapers to a smaller mouth which helps concentrate aromatics, making for a fuller, exceptional drinking experience for any style of beer.
Glassware Care
Here is a guide I wrote that details the best way for you to properly clean your glassware. It's technically written for Teku and other stemware but the principles are the same. Below are some basic guidelines.
-
No microwaving - This glass contains precious metals, so never put it in the microwave, unless you wanna see those sparks fly
- Hand wash - I've put my gold printed glasses through the wash, but I don't recommend it. I suggest hand washing these with soap and water, and then letting them air dry.
